General Discussion / Just ate my first raw beef (Stomach feels strange)
« on: October 09, 2017, 07:04:26 am »
I am having strange turnings in my stomach. There is no pain but It just feels like my stomach is digesting quite heavily. I ate a very small portion like 1/4 of a pound. I ate it with 4 raw eggs as well. No dairy though as I heard it can give stomach aches but I did drink a lot of dairy early in the morning.

General Discussion / Planning on Joining the Navy (Need help)
« on: October 04, 2017, 03:59:26 am »
Well I in short, I will be finishing my pre-courses for my degree by the end of next year. I plan on joining the Navy (U.S) and as many of you who know about the military. Their food regime is quite strict. I am not worried about the vaccination portion because I know that you can ask not to be vaccinated before enlistment (within reason) so I am good there. But I know if I dare ask the cooks for raw meat, I would be given the crazy eyes and probably kicked out. Not sure if anyone here has been in the military as a primal eater but I could use a few tips before I go. Also, I know Aajonus spoke about detoxification of unhealthy food, so If I can get my hands on some raspberries then I might be fine, just not sure how the month lethargy will turn out. Anyways, any help would be great.

Thanks,

Aloe.

Hey Guys I got pictured by a wood splinter about 2.5 weeks ago. I feel no symptoms so I'm not sure if I have tetanus. I thought it was a blister at first. I'm thinking I'm poping it with a needle and just putting some aloe vera to heal it.

Carnivorous / Zero Carb Approach / Re: No more salmon

Wow, thanks for posting. Haven't eating salmon when for about a year now. Good thing I heard about this before I got back to it.

I would recommend it over raw cows' milk as it has a special extra tang. Well, for those who aren't allergic to raw dairy anyway. Raw sheeps milk is also very tasty.

Mate I have a question. You sent me a link to your starter guide for the primal diet but somewhere in there you said that you should not drink raw milk? Not sure if your stance has changed on that.

The farm is called Bee Heaven Farm. You have to order the milk online, then pick it up at the farm.

They sell for

$5 for 16 oz

$9 for 1 half -gal

$16 for 2 half-gal

Also, have any of you tried raw goat milk? Any good?

General Discussion / Tattoos or no?
« on: September 17, 2017, 12:38:54 pm »
I was wondering what some of you think about tattoos? Cadmium is found in red ink for tattoos which is a bit  concerning for me. I was planning on getting one but I am still not sure about it. Given that this is somewhat health related, perhaps a good conversation can be created from it.

Thanks.

I actually survived the Hurricane quite well Iguana thanks for asking. About seafood, I actually never really enjoyed it very much due to the after taste I would get when I did it eat. Perhaps that is due to it being cooked, mind you I still have not eaten any raw meat of any kind yet but I have drinked Raw milk once a few years ago. Fish is quite plentiful here in Florida so I will look into it. Unfortunately, there is not a whole foods near my area, I have been to one and I can recall there being grass fed beef. about 32 dollars a pound or something of that nature. I will look into goat and lamb though, would be interesting to try. For now, I will just continue reading AV's book and doing  some more research.

Thanks guys.

Hello Everyone name is Steven and I live here in Florida, USA. I have been trying to find a farm or store that sells raw milk and or grass-fed meat but it is quite difficult. The only places I know that have it are bought online which is a bit difficult for me. I have been vegan for almost 1 year now and I can honestly say it has been a very strenuous and difficult diet but I can't say it didn't help me, while I was on that diet. I stayed away from fast food joints and ate cleaner foods that were not processed through tubes, I still was loosing my fatigue and in my 8th month, I started getting eczema and still have it till this day. I want to leave this diet for good but I don't want to go back to eating cooked meat or "ultra-pasteurized" milk. I just bought Aajonus Vonderplanitz book "We want to Live" expanded edition and I really want to know him and his work. I know many of you have read his books and know a lot about the primal diet. Any tips on how to gradually transition to it would be helpful.

Thanks again!

Steven.
