Primal Diet / High Meat re: balancing body's oxygenation
« on: December 19, 2017, 12:08:25 pm »
To me, it feels like eating a small chunk of high meat makes painful muscles in chest or back from what feels like small gas bubbles go away immediately and my lungs return to perfectly great oxygenation, lije one is 100% connected with the other, lije the air leaves where it shouldn't be to go where it should be, or something like that. .
I don't feel any need for this all the time. Just once in a while.

But I'm wondering what related experiences others experience besides me, of high meat (or strong smelling cheese, any ammonia smelling raw high protein fermented animal derived food) that are anywhere similar.

Thanks for reading, and even more of course for consideration and/or reply.

Plenty of primal dieters start with no meat. Some like you don't feel comfortable about the idea of raw meat, but want the benefits. It's better to start with raw eggs anyway, that can help get the digestive tract ready, if it's not already.

Eating fish (it's always saltwater) on the primal diet without other landmeat is alright, as long as you're eating all the rest of the diet. Did you see the suggested menus in RFLWD? Like one of the others above wrote, after a while you feel comfortable with the idea of land meat, and you'll start eating it.

Don't make your whole diet fish. Even the inuit don't do that.

Primal Diet / Re: How to get raw milk and kefir in Canada?

Are you able to find pre-made cheese the way aajonus recommends, meaning unsalted? You could make your own also, it's not that difficult to make a simple cheese. If it's salted, you don't get the primal diet benefit of what it does for the body. Also, making your own, you can be sure it was never raised above 104 degrees (F). There may be producers near you who make unsalted true raw cheese. There are a bunch of primal dieters in the Montreal area. Perhaps a place to start would be looking through the raw paleo diet forum for the workshops that were posted in this section of the forum when aajonus was alive.

Primal Diet / Re: food poisoning from chicken
« on: October 13, 2017, 06:19:18 pm »
https://www.wewant2live.com/why-is-aajonus-so-concerned-about-toxicity-in-commercial-chickens-and-eggs/

In the back of the We Want to Live book there was always the list you could order of sources for all the food that aajonus checked out personally. It was regularly updated. Now that aajonus is gone, it might not be there. But you could ask Jim on the site.

I was scared trying poultry the first time. I got the best source i could. It was obviously grainfed though. I've eaten it many times since. The best tasting chicken is when you get it fresh slaughtered & it was raised in a pasture with the roosters. It can be given some feed, but make sure it's WAPF approved feed & that it has no soy. You'll taste the difference.

As for food poisoning, I know a couple people who say they've gotten detox from chicken. Myself, I've never gotten a loose stool or anything from raw chicken. Perhaps my body like campylobacteria & so does the rest of the people I know who eat it. Just ate a bunch of chicken high meat today. Maybe you need the bacteria, like some people do well on kefir but not milk. I've seen those who do great on high eggs, but not as well on fresh egg (raw all).

As for science, what do you think of the info in aajonus' 2002 book Recipes for Living without Disease?

I got Slankers once, Sabertooth, around three or four years ago, delivered to me outside of Texas. It was good, but I just like getting meat in person. Well, I get e-mail from Slankers, and I have a code good till the twenty-first of this month to put on your order with them. It's WECARE. It's for $10.00 off an order of $150.00.

I'm in a unique position. I know a vegetarian man who had his testosterone checked while healthy. It was good of course. Then he was exposed to endotoxic insecticide. All the hormones connected with the pituitary went way down. Then he added raw grassfed milk to his diet and got rid of soy among other changes. All his hormones improved including leutenizing and follicle stimulating hormones to normal, except testosterone which is still somewhat low, although not extremely low now.

Theyyyy're heere!

No niacin, they won't take any.  Lots of raw eggs. I have really great calm healing background music, they don't want that, but like me singing. They're sleeping a lot and vomitting. Say they do want to do gardening, when stomach settles.  Had some grassfed plain pure bone stock and added a lot of black pepper to their taste. Said felt better then, but not continuing that.

Thank you, yes, I need to continually keep grounded and work on that each day, but really appreciate the reminder.

They're coming today, if they can, I just found out this new attempt at a change of plan. They're trying to get here.  Could use much positive energy here.  I hope that the fact that there will be no one trying to scam them when they're here, and that it's quiet here at this time, that this will help give the situation a good start on the correct foot.

@aLive that's kind of the plan already, they said they're afraid of diving back into fully-raw meat  too quickly from their previous experience. They want blue steaks, fish prepared "blue" etc at first. I figure that will be the first couple of weeks.

@DaBoss88 I don't think I can get them to take vitamins; for many reasons. I do have access to lots about vitamin therapy for people with mental illness though. I will suggest it, and get some to have on hand.  Thank you!  I'm glad it has helped you and that you have progressed and are progressing.

I think it's schizophrenia, DaBoss88, but I will ask next we talk. They're scheduled to be here in about ten days. They don't have access to phone or internet all the time right now, so I have to wait till they call or find me on messenger.

Health / Re: I keep losing weight!
« on: October 28, 2012, 02:20:06 am »
Another thing that contributed was consuming unfermented milk, miked with honey and closer to body temperature.

Contributed to gaining weight for you? Or contributed to the prior unhealthy weightloss? I assume it was to gain, as body temperature milk is agreed on by any person I know who is into natural health with milk a part of it to them. Also, raw milk has put weight on me. Other raw foods do not.

Thanks for posting, Löwenherz.

Yes, GS. Near the beggining of the second video Löwenherz posted there, Adres states that he was born January 1954.

I'm sorry to hear of his passing. I hope those who know him will have solace.

I'd like to read your suggestions.

Someone I know from the internet is coming to stay with me. They have mental issues, and the most nutritious thing they've eaten in months is frozen pizzas and have been spending mucho time hanging around a gas station, not working there nor car repairs. They have been fully on the primal diet before, and want this opportunity to thaw out and start to get healthy physically.  Last time they were at the beginning of a year or two of primal diet, they went through extreme spontaneous detoxes.

If you have any thoughts or feelings or know any articles or videos that you think might be helpful to us, please post them here. Thank you.

I will read, view, consider and pass them on to my guest if they will check them out.  I have no idea what they're like in person.  We've been chatting for several years, but I know in person will be a different thing.

I hope they will bathe lol. Lord give me strength! I'm praying it works out excellently for me and my guest both.

These may be for cooked and processed food preparations:

http://www.healthaliciousness.com/articles/foods-high-in-selenium.php

In Aajonus' study he used raw swordfish vs. cooked swordfish (or perhaps frozen?)

Primal Diet / Re: cheese vs butter
« on: August 08, 2012, 02:24:07 pm »
That's pretty much it:

cheese http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/dairy-and-egg-products/7690/2
butter http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/dairy-and-egg-products/133/2

If you need generous amounts of fat with your meal, raw organic butter will work of the two.

Raw cheese absorbs differently than butter. Pasteurized cheese does not absorb.

I think some flowers may be not a good idea but roses are generally a good idea for energy and vitality. Rosehip jam is very good. But not paleo.

Rose hip, the fruit, may be used in the primal diet, I'm not sure though.  The flavor to me was always just tart.  The petals, I think I should ask aajonus, as they may have a cleansing effect.  Yes, its jam would be cooked.

note to self:
I know where to get water snakes. I saw many recently.

Raw-Al, does it matter if they are sea snakes or fresh water snakes? I'm thinking sea snakes for the primal diet.

Sugar goes along with excessive urination too. I think it may be the lactose.  Give milk to an animal and they urinate more too.

A woman has to prepared for the great act of birth.  A "primal" exercise to do every day when you know in the future you will want to give birth with fewer contractions and better experience is swimming.

As far as I understood they had romantic relationship with AV which was ended with deathcap mushroom.. Tragic. But the question remains - why not disclose medical records?

You're saying that Owanza, Aajonus, and her teenage child had a romantic relationship all together?

I don't know CarnivorousApe, have you asked Aajonus for the medical records?
