General Discussion / Re: Uruguyan beef
« on: May 13, 2022, 11:11:54 pm »
it's warm enough to walk around in a t shirt in winter/autumn though I'm not sure if it will be comfortable but the grass does grow year round yes.

People were talking about this guy on Facebook carnivore groups saying he's definitely heavily roided. He definitely looks like it. But then again, he's only 5'7", 200 pounds and eats a ridiculous amount of meat. It's even possible he could have the double muscle gene, idk how rare it is in humans but I have read it's present in if i remember most species of mammals as a mutation.

Check him out on YouTube, he's a cook lol. Honestly haven't barely watched any of his videos, just 4 minutes so far. https://youtu.be/QzZ0y5w_1iA

I have often mentioned in the past,  i hope and beleieve on this forum as well that Uruguay is a high potential country for a primal paradise, the weather is perfect for growing pasture, tons of water, temperate subtropical intermediary climate, 5 cows per human and high quality of life and low crime for a 34d world country. Also for anyone traveling in USA aldis super market here in USA has Grass fed beef from Australia and Uruguay. The Australian beef doesn't taste anywhere near as good.  They also have food grass fed steaks at 10 dollars a pound, us grown ribeys and ny strip.

The only alternative to access raw dairy in Korea would probably be to visit any local dairies you can find. I haven't researched Korea but I read about organic dairies in Hokaido if I remember right.

I would definitely rather have food than no food. Carnivore is better than primal without enough food to eat. I'm 6'9" so it's not always practical for me to eat primal and consume enough calories. There is a new "primal" influencer everyone is claiming in Facebook carnivore groups is full of roids who claims to be fully natty. He really doesn't look natural at all but he's only 5'7" I think he could be legit. I'm going to make another thread on the topic.

Welcoming Committee / Re: Meateor Man IN THE HOUSE!
« on: July 03, 2019, 09:32:45 pm »
Hey Meateor. I habe spoken with you several times in the past, good to hear from you again. For some reason little if any semblance of community has emerged from this forum, its mostly people asking questions about tweaking their diet. On one hand its a shame because working together i think people could improve their diets and way of life, it can be very difficult to maintain a high quality diet that runs completely counter to the status quo. On the other hand I can't positively affirm that I am regretful of a lack of community as in my experience, community has for the most part stifled my personal development whole solitude has almost always encouraged it. Besides that, this site is a storehouse of thoughtful arguments and ideas that people can use to learn about healthier living through diet. It seems most of these discussions have played themselves out and the forum is much less active today. It would be nice to think people new to the diet can use this forum as a means to emerse themselves in New ideas and ways of thinking. Peace bro.

Where is the best place to invest in pasture land for raising grass fed livestock?

As you will probably recall, wolves eat a large percentage of their diet (perhaps 60-70% and sometimes more) in mice, which they eat whole. In the past my dogs seem to have really enjoy eating desiccated, rotten, sun dried fish that would show up along the river...

The Filipino version of circumcision doesn't seem anywhere near as severe.

Flavor can vary from year to year and field to field. Generally an animal's flavor is mainly based off of the last 1 month of it's life before it is slaughtered. Pigs can be fed a diet of entirely seafood waste products for their entire lives save the last month fed exclusively barley with no seafood taste remaining.

Mineral supplementation will impact and improve flavor, as will greener pastures that are at their best generally in late spring and early summer. They say deer in velvet around the 4th of July are better than those shot in season and in my experience the meat has a sweeter flavor. At this time they are bright orange furred while in fall the turn dark greyish brown.

Some pastures are legume dominant while others are grass dominant and still others are forbs dominant and some livestock will have access to browse.

Some animals are more picky while others are more adventurous, some are nervous while others are aggressive. The pushy boisterous animals will be the most athletic and probably taste the best as well.

Most producers castrate their males and if their intact full grown animals are large they attempt to sell them as breeding stock instead of food and command a hefty price tag.

Would you not consider purchasing a smaller acreage that would be more affordable to increase the fertility of the land to ideal thresholds and while you may not be able to produce a living for your family from the land, you could certainly provide your dietary needs off of a good 5 or ten acres which may not be much more expensive than your average house on 1 acre?

Have you ever been to or tried Green Pastures farm? http://www.greenpasturesfarm.net/

I'm totally obsessed in the subject of producing quality lamb. I have a friend with 200 acres in the Catskills NY which hasn't been tilled in over 40 years, a lot of it probably in over 100, never has seen herbicide. Albeit 100 acres has been overgrazed, it was with over 100 dairy cattle for years and years and is well fertilized, the other 100 acres made into hay but is often driven over with a manure spreader. 98 years in the same family. Dairy has been unprofitable and the farmer suffered a stroke, he is trying to hold onto the place. Maybe it's a stretch, but I envision a fundraiser to fence the place for sheep, perhaps in exchange for lamb or even a stake in the farm? Great and beautiful hill farm, north facing which is perfect for summer grazing.

Turning 31, glad to have mostly recovered from the PTSD I developed from trying to be a farmer in my 20's. Kinda confused what I should do but eventually some day I will be doing exactly what you are looking for as it is basically all I care about. Thinking of moving to Alaska or some kind of fishing job, anything profitable to save up a nest egg. As time goes on the more I think I need help to get a great project up and running, but I was never able to find anyone interested in getting involved besides con artists. Alas I guess my best bet is to learn from my mistakes and start saving for the next 5-10 years.

Damn brain worms and mountain lions.

I am not familiar with Katadins but the butcher told me my lamb was the best quality he had ever seen and found it hard to believe I never fed grain. I feel it has as much to do with their methods and pasture quality as it does to do with the breed. However I have heard that Katadins grow fat eating rocks so there might be something to that.

I did a google search of Icelandic sheep Kentucky, there are a lot of growers, they usually use more natural methods than average and the animals are of superior quality.

Even if I have no pain? The only symptoms I am experiencing are some bad breath and clicking in the jaw, but when I treat this is minimized.

Also the last time I took heavy duty antibiotics I developed a tumor which didn't go away for 9 years so I am very averse to taking them.

Ironically that was also my experience with manuka honey. Maybe I should have kept taking it, but I ran out and at 40 dollars a jar I was hoping this neem oil would do the trick, maybe i'm not using it often enough.

I considered that except I felt that there is a good chance that they won't actually clear up the infection as that has been my experience in the past using antibiotics. Perhaps they clear them up in the short term 99% but as soon as I quit taking them it just comes roaring back.

Howdy, I had a really bad tooth for many many years, it was healed but unfortunately it's structure didn't have integrity and at a bar a hot burger and a glass of ice water fractured the tooth. It became infected. I have since had the tooth extracted but still have infection. I have treated it in several ways which help including high strength manuka honey but it hasn't quite gone away yet. Any advice how to nip it in the bud?

Just as long as it's salt water fish, fresh water fish can be dangerous perhaps!?

Primal Diet / Re: AVOID rainwater drinking
« on: December 30, 2017, 06:48:41 pm »
It would be good to test the rain water. I think you could minimize the damage by stirring in dissolvable calcium magnesium or some kind of clay, such as azomite. I tend to believe even with the obvious chemtrails (literal definition of contrails) those do not account for a large amount of accumulated pollution from rainfall, however I have heard aluminum concentrations in waterways in PNW have reached toxicity levels for invertebrate life, and this seemed to be my experience living there as the environment seemed devoid of what I would consider normal aquatic insects in the air in a trout and salmon watershed. Though I can not scientifically attest to any of that. From what I understand though rainwater is generally cleaner than almost any water you can get. Even artesian spring water while generally is likely to be very good, can also have abnormal mineral balance and cause nutritional harm. I do not believe enough research is being done in this field, at least I have not heard from any experts on the matter. In NZ they add minerals in livestock water and I have heard of minerals for water consumption but have no experience with them.

At first I wanted to see it, but then I read the plot synopsis and I changed my mind. I chose to stop watching movies a long time ago because of their negative portrayal of the world, if I'm going to watch a movie for pleasure I don't appreciate it if it makes me feel bummed out with an unhappy ending.

This particular vegan also talks about people he would love to commit grizzly acts of violence against, including every baby he ever sees he wants to crush into a pool of blood.
