My depression was caused by incidents that happened in my life that had nothing to do with diet.  It was not spontaneous depression, it was depression from a cause, and changing what I ate would not have changed how I felt in those situations.
If you get depressed from an event it doesn't mean that you ever had depression. It just meant that you responded to an event.

Definitely do aloe. I have 4 large plants and about 20 babies growing. Best stuff for sunburns by far.

Exercise / Bodybuilding / Re: Squat Motivation Thread
« on: May 20, 2011, 09:59:05 am »
Sorry to bring up old threads but I have an update. I have been seeing my trainer who has the most extensive training I have ever seen. Anyway I told him about how I wasn't able to do an asian squat and his response is no problem lay down. He cracked my back, stretched my hip and bam! Perfect squat with no problems. I asked how to keep it this way and he told me I can't (and most other people) can't do it due to weakness in the back and hips. He told me he would show me some exercises and stretches to fix it. Ill try and stay updated on this for anyone whos interested.

Yah they also found garlic reduces methane gas released by ruminents but that just is because it kills the bacteria that is suppose to be digesting grass cellulose.

I always eat my raw plant foods unwashed, except when in the company of foolish relatives who insist on pre-washing  them. And I would eat raw slugs, if available.
Are the raw plant foods organic? If not why wouldn't you try to clean the pesticides.

@miles
If its organic I don't clean it.

RPD makes you less suseptible to parasites. I think GS has to use anti-parasite measures because his family is partially cooked.
...I eat plenty of cooked meat and raw meat and haven't had any parasite issues.

For the most part they are accurate. As Josh said they are both based on US nutrition databases which may have not been updated in only god knows how long.

I agree with coyote. Most nuts are fat and protein and not complex carbs like the ones found in grain IMO.

Lol just so you know the ratio of true information to false information on the internet is like 1:100 tops.

Artocarpus heterophyllus or A. heterophylla I think.

If its curable through antibiotics I would use them. If it was incurable then I would stick with just raw paleo and maybe try to find other ways of helping it through herbs or IF.

Depends which one?

Suggestion Box / Re: Symantics of raw meat
« on: March 18, 2011, 12:14:41 pm »
When I first read this thread I mostly agreed, but now I see so many people on this forum acting like it's a regular keto forum or something... talking about eating cooked meat/fat products like it was just as healthy as raw...
I'm probably one of the people your talking about as I'm not 100% raw but I know that cooked meat does me no good. Besides most people don't come here for weight loss unlike other paleo websites, we come here for health.
