I've deleted the duplicate posts in the other sub-forums on this. There is no need to plaster this all over the forum and clutter up a bunch of sub-forums with disjointed commentary and duplicate threads.

That's bullshit.
Sorry I had to put out there like that. But it's the truth.

I have had plenty of purely wild small undomesticated black/red raspberries, if they are the sweetest fruit you tasted, you must have only tried wild raspberries and wild grapes my friend.

I just can't believe you wrote that.....
I agree wholeheartedly.

Thursday: 13 sets of 7 (91 total)
Today: 29 sets of 12 (348 total) + 1 set of 2. I was so close, I wanted 350. ;D
Chin-ups and pull-ups tonight as well but in moderation as I'm beat.
I definitely see gains in muscle, particularly my triceps & shoulders and to a lesser degree my pecs. It'll be interesting to see the final results in muscle composition and exercise endurance by the end of the cycle.

Those aren't in the atlantic thus I can't get them in Iceland.
Swordfish is in the Atlantic, at least of the East Cost of North America. I buy it from local fishermen. It might not be indigenous to the eastern edge of the Atlantic though.

I hurt.
This push-up routine gets to be brutal and next week will be that much more so (although I'm away at a seminar for part of it so will do the routine partially next week and fully perform that week's routine the week after). I definitely notice my chest is much more taught and my arms & forearms seem a bit bigger.

Monday: 25 push-ups max test and 14 sets of 8 reps (137 total).
Tuesday: 15 sets of 13 reps (195 total).
Today: 19 sets of 15 reps (285 total).
I also jogged and did chin-ups & pull-ups today.

Time for another update.

As mentioned elsewhere I've gone back to an intermittent fasting feeding schedule; I eat a big meal at some point between 12PM and 3PM and have a smaller, but still filling, meal at dinner time 6PM-8PM. On average I'm getting about 18 hours of fasting in each day with a minimum of 16.
I've found this changed has helped me immensely. I'm much more focused all day and have very little drop to my energy when I eat my big meal. I'm constantly warm as well which is nice (I was getting cold hands as I would get closer to lunchtime before). Lastly my Tinea is getting better again. For a while it was getting worse but it's receding again. My gut feeling is the more frequent meals were impairing digestion which was resulting in the Candida having food (even if it was lean meat).

I had slackened a bit the past week on my exercise routine but hiked for about 5 miles on Saturday and I'm back with a vengeance today.
I jogged a mile and half this morning.
Did some ab exercises.
Began a push-up routine (below).
And had a good round of chin-ups, pull-ups, and dips tonight.
I feel worked over but good. Gonna get lots of sleep and keep the routine up. :)

-Say that u are allergic to eggs, and if they ask for a test eat as much eggs as u can from NOW to the test. This is  because allergy blood tests work by identifying what is in your blood and how much it reacts (it will have a big reaction on the charts....plz correct me if incorrect)
I had an allergy test with years of no eating multiple foods since my last test (wheat, soy, crustaceans, etc.) and each allergy reading went up.

Unless your farmer has been specifically mentioned in rawist circles, I don`t see how the demand for organs can be that great. Puzzling.
He's got stands at two large farmer's markets in NYC as well as the smaller market I frequent. From speaking with him it sounds like at least half of his customers, and probably more than that, ascribe to WAP, primal diets, or paleo diets. He even has others RAF customers in the city. :)

Phil; I'm in at least 2 hospitals a week in NY & NJ but some weeks as many as 4 as part of my job (architecture specializing in healthcare) and have only seen this requested from one. I haven't bothered to comply and no one has said anything.
I do have documented allergies to eggs so will use that card if/when required but until then ignorance is bliss. Unfortunately it sounds like you won't be able to use that as an excuse. I'm not really sure what else you can use as an excuse.

I had a disturbed and fitful sleep with vivid dreams the night I ate them. I also had anxiety the next day which is abnormal for me. Others were not able to corroborate my experiences with similar experiences, as far as I remember, so it would be interesting to hear your experiences. :)

My wife and I celebrated our second wedding anniversary on the 4th. We were cleaning some things out of the freezer yesterday and found our top tier of our wedding cake (very unconventional; cheesecake made with only cream cheese, egg, and maple syrup) which we had saved for our first anniversary and never go to so we defrosted it. My wife ate the majority of it (it was barely 1 serving worth) but I shared a bite. Tasty, albeit very sweet to me, but again not worth it. Had a bit of a headache and general malaise for a few hours.

I read somewhere that constant frequent sexual intercourse means the man becomes less fertile or something .
AFAIK it takes 2 days to build up your optimum levels of sperm so sex daily would result in a lowered fertility rate. Maybe you read something similar?

Yeah I guess everyone is different. If I over eat I'll get constipated for days on end
Exactly. That's why this forum is so great; we've all got different bodies, different experiences, and different approaches to our diets. We should all be able to agree there is no "one size fits all" optimum diet for where each of us is but through sharing our findings, be they scientific or anecdotal, we can help each other get healthier. :)

I don't think it's the fungus that causes your tinea to flair up. I think it has something to do with fecal matter in the colon.

Take me for example, I have eczema issues and like you I always thought "candida candida candida". If I over eat, and got constipated then things would flare up badly, but if my colon was kept pretty regular I'd be really good. Now I've also done juice fasts where I drank unlimited amount of juice, sugary and pasturized crap.  I also used enemas regularly to make sure my colon was always squeaky clean. But the fruit drinks in theory should make my 'candida' flare up like crazy. But it definitely didn't. My eczema improved drastically and I felt awesome. Now that I'm eating again and I'm slightly constipated my problems resurface big time. So I've come to the conclusion it's more because of old fecal matter not being released when it should, rather than candida.

Perhaps the 'candida' is feasting on stuck fecal matter, but even if so, I still think it's more important to keep your bowel movements regular than avoiding carbs.

That's all well and good but when I overeat I go to the bathroom more often than normal. A normal day for me is once a day but when overeating it's at least twice a day.
I eat RZC because my body can't tolerate carbs; the carbs perpetuate a leaky gut in me which has resulted in an extensive list of true food allergies.

I disagree. In the past, I have often been told by others how difficult it is to get hold of raw organs etc., but in fact there are many sources around, one just has to keep asking. For example, my method was to visit 1 different farmers`market a week until, after several months I had a multitude of sources. And, there`s always the option to get delivery from grassfed farms - while most do not advertise raw organs, constant questioning invaribaly leads to finding numerous sources.

I suspect that the trouble is that, in the US, there is a tendency only to get delivery from a very few well-known farms(slanker`s, us wellness and northstar bison keep being mentioned) so naturally sources of raw organs would be much less.

That dependence on centralized grass-finished providers is part of the problem here in the US and does make sourcing of the organs a problem for many.
I on the other hand buy local directly from a farmer. His customers' demand for organs has grown exponentially over the time I've been buying from him hence my comment which was in my experience. I've looked around for other suppliers but none are as good as the farm I patronize. People might have less issues in some areas but for me organs are getting more expensive and harder to source.

In my experience the following foods do NOT feed candida:
Meat, eggs, fresh coconut meat, coconut oil, organic butter, yams, buckwheat, millet, quinoa, mesquite, maca, raw cacao, medicinal mushrooms such as reishi, berries, all greens (including goitrogens), sweet potatoes, lentils, amaranth, bee pollen, seeds, algaes

FWIW I've bolded the foods in your list that do exacerbate my Candida. Some only exacerbate when eaten in larger amounts (eggs) and some would take a small bit to exacerbate (berries). There are others in the list that may or may not but my food allergies prevented me from experimenting with them once I'd gotten my Candida under enough control that I could accurately gauge things.

Also of note I have Tinea Versicolor which has exhibited a correlation to my internal battle with Candida. When the Candida gets bad the Tinea flares up and when the Candida is under control the Tinea disappears. When I began eating RZC I transitioned into a 1-2 meal a day plan with plenty of intermittent fasting (at least 16 hours a day). The Tinea slowly but surely receded. The past couple months I'd been eating 3 meals a day, with plenty of protein, and the Tinea has gotten noticeably bad. Ive gone back to how I was eating before and things are progressing in the right direction again. To me this indicates that even meat/protein can feed my fungal issues so I need to eat at points where I will utilize it all and not have left overs to feed fungus.

You don't have to chew or spit out the seeds.. You just swallow them.. The plant doesn't want you to chew the seeds either. It's not hard to eat wild fruits without damaging the seeds.. And if you don't damage the seeds it doesn't matter if you swallow them or spit them, but mostly it's easier for them to go down your throat.
Exactly. The seeds want to end up on the ground, whole, inside a pile of shit so they can sprout.
Most seeds are unpleasant when chewed and Concord Grapes definitely fall into this category. They're a little peppery which can be pleasant with a seed or two but after that it's an instinctive thing to not chew them.

Try to get hold of raw grassfed tongue. It is more easily available and avoids you having to gte hold of raw dairy  - plus, IMO, many types of raw meats are already very fatty such as raw lamb/raw mutton.
It's gotten much hard to get a hold of in my experience Tyler. It might be a less utilized organ in the UK but the growing prevalence of diets like ours here in the US has resulted in increased demand and frequent shortages. The last beef tongue I had I was waiting over month to get. Liver has been gettign much more popular as well.

Even the concord grapes, are a total pain in the ass as far as chewing or swallowing the seeds, although I'm sure its possible some primates spit similar things out.
Have you ever had wild concord grapes KD?
They're actually very easy to eat. They are a bit tougher skinned and do have larger seeds but they're still much easier to eat than many other edibles in the wild.

How do you get currants in the USA with currant plants banned here?

They're easily found here in New York. Rawzi's quote corroborates this.

the longer I'm on raw paleo, the less I "cheat" because the cheating usually results in feeling really bad or off.
I'm the same. At this point cooked foods just make me feel blah so I don't have any desire whatsoever to "cheat".
In my mind any cheating for me are the rare occasions when I indulge in fruits as these exacerbate Candida issues. These are still raw though.
I think it's been maybe 6 months since I ate anything cooked.

I do have to say I'm surprised at the amount of people here on the forum who are indulging in cooked or processed foods and the frequency it seems to occur at. I'm glad we have this thread as it really opens my eyes to the full breadth of others experiences. It's also good as it gives newbies some confidence that even if they indulge here or there so long as they work towards an overall RPD they will make gains in their health.

human body is designed to receive and absorb animal fats. if you aren't taking xenical, then actual undigested fat in your stools is a sign of a morbidity. You need to see a gastroenterologist.
Yeah...no.
It's very possible ot eat too much fat and end up with partially, or undigested, fat in your stool. It takes time to build up the amounts of bile neccesary to break down larger amounts of fat in a meal.

As most zero carb wannabes I am overly concerned with getting enough fat in my diet. The main concern for me is protein poisoning, rabbit starvation and kidney stones. I can enjoy raw beef fat although can't eat enough of it, since it takes too much time to chew and I wanna get on with other things. I do have beef tallow and I know that it's rendered thus not raw. But I still rather sacrifice quality for time. I got an an idea from this forum to melt the fat as to increase the intake. I did just that. Before I measured the tallow to weight twice as much as raw grass fed beef. I poured the tallow into a glass and drank it along with my meat. I have to admit that the drink was unpalatable. I also took 10 hcl 650 mg pills since I can't digest raw meat. Soon after the meal I was hungry. But unfortunately I knew that I have to fast since I already used up a lot of stomic acid and if I eat more then I would get severe stomachache. So I fasted. I was kind of happy thinking that all is well and that I am finally digesting my raw meat. But the next day I was not feeling too well and had a stomachache. I went to the bathroom and everything came out undigested. I am puzzled. On one hand carbs are problematic for me, on the other fat is not a solution to zero carbing. Perhaps I have to settle for fruit?
I would have the same reaction as you and I've been eating RZC successfully for over a year.
I'm going to make some observations without quantities or photos so these might be wrong:
-You don't have to worry about protein poisoning unless you eat pounds and pounds of meat everyday. A couple pounds of meat isn't going to poison you.
-You will not get rabbit starvation if you get moderate amounts of fat with your meat; the fat on fatty cuts will be enough. You might not have a ton of energy if you don't get enough fat or carbs but you're not going to shut down.
-I'm not going to harp on you about the cooked fat but I will say that I personally cannot tolerate it and do not recommend it.
-There's not much evidence that ZC directly causes kidney stones. IMO a ZC diet is more demanding of water than say a raw omni diet so you should hydrate a bit more but it shouldn't scare you. Lex's experience do seem to correlate with ZC as at least a catalyst but it is one experience.
-You're having too much fat. Twice the weight in tallow (rendered fat so even more potent/concentrated) to ground beef is grossly excessive.
