What I found the most intriguing is that they get rid of the extra bodyweight in a few weeks!
They don't look all that fat to me. Mostly extremely bloated. That would also explain how they get rid of it so fast.

Well just that.

The only way you can support a heavy barbell in a squat is to keep it in a straight line above the mid of the foot. Other wise you either fall on your ass or your face. The heavier the load the smaller the moment arm between the weight and the midfoot you can handle.

I don't need military press, since I already do handstand pushup holds.

Why are the freeweight squats better than the machine?

Tell me about the rows/pullovers.
Miliatry presses are quite different than hanstand pushup holds. Think power prodution.
F = m * A
P = F * V
In any static exercise there is only force, no velocity, thus no power.

The larger the range of movement the larger the muscle mass involved the more valuable the exercise. Static holds produce very limited results. Limited in force, power, and range of movement.

Balancing a heavy barbell above the mid-foot takes an incredible amount of strength and neuromuscular coördination. Much bigger systemic trigger than leg presses(or squat machine little difference other than load aplication).

There's going to come a point where it's inescapable. I'm trying to decide if I should start with a squats machine, or just with deadlifts.
They are both important. I would never exclude one for the other. Usually best to do either of them in a workout. Don't deadlift more than once a week or you'll fry your nervous system. Regular squats are far superior and safer than squat machine. Also don't forget about military presses and a form of rows or pullovers.

There have to be more.

I tried ordering marrow bones and organ meat from one of my usual sources and they were out!

The human body is actually pretty comprehensible in my opinion. Im so tired of people making simple things so complicated. The world is quite a simple place in many ways. Not to say there are no mysteries.
When you were a convinced vegan I bet it was all simple as well, right? Man isn't meant to eat animal, all animals are sacred. Eating an all plant diet is cleaning both the body and the mind in perfect harmony. See; Simple!

I don't like overcomplicating things in general but I do recognise that health and nutrition are complicated. So many people pick a single idea or ideology and cling to it fiercely. This form of simplification is comforting. One answer for every problem. The reality is, of course, that there are infinite answers to every problem many of which have elements of a possible truth in them.

The philosophical idea that there is only one truth thus one correct answer to every problem went out the window with the birth of quantum science.

Aged liver very quickly develops mold in my experience. Never ate it. Molds are a big nono as far as i'm concerned. The smell of mold is horrible to me.

If you do dairy gaining weight is easy. Have a milkshake in between meals consisting of: Milk, cream(a lot), eggs and either sweet fruit or honey (quite a bit of it).

Oh and 3500kcal doesn't count as massive imo. Especially not if you're working out. 5000-6000Kcal a day is pretty normal if rapid weight/strength gains are the goal.

300+lbs strongman eat up to 15000kcal a day. Now that's massive.

For me maintenance level is around 3200Kcal a day.

I think the veggie juice is the least important part of the diet for me. It would probably be more important for me if i didn't have a shitty centrifugal juicer.
I agree that it is not the most important. Far from it. It is one of those things I can easily go without but than when i do drink it I always notice a boost for several hours.

iv found all of his claims to be true so ill take his word on it. I take my own personal experience above everything else.

you do what you want. "official" research documents mean nothing to me, maybe they mean something to you.
I didn't believe any of Aajons claims. Thought they were entertaining stories he made up to get the raw point across. I still have my doubts on most of them however I can't fault the guy. Which is frustrating. Every time I have some sort of problem or issue I reread his books and look for clues. The food remedies (usually following some weird logic) he suggest have always worked. Without exception. Ranging from skin issues to food timing and combining and from headaches to wound healing.

Do I believe he was saved by a peck of wolves offering him a dead rabbit...? No! I don't.
Do I believe he is a competent and experienced healer? Yes

Its quite simple for me. My body has no difficulty digesting soft things (meat fat most fruit (oranges for example have too much fiber for me so I chew them and spit out the fiber, apples are too hard and I dont digest them too well so I dont eat them at all) butter, honey, anything soft and raw) but anything hard is difficult for my body to digest which is basically just vegetables.

Soft vs hard is almost always the main criteria. Fiber is my enemy and I can always feel it sitting in my gut. However a vegetable juice one in a while makes me feel great because I get the veggie benefits without the fibrous detriment.
100% the same for me! No wonder we both ended up doing a primal version of a raw diet.
Also if i go to long without a veggie juice I notice reduced energy levels. Same for you?

Sounds like you had colostrum or transitional milk (in between colostrum and regular milk, first two days after calf birth) both are great healers.

Good to hear lifting worked out so well for you.
Starting strength is a decent program. You said you are only 145lbs..? You're really quite strong for someone of that weight. Part of starting strength is eating 5000-6000kcal to; "Get your narrow ass a little bigger" Freely quoting Rip here ;)

Pistol Squats.. hmmm I would really try to get hold of a squat rack. Or try this:
Matt Brouse 355 lbs Steinborn Squat
If you're brave..

You're right weightlifting is very beneficial to all. To quote rip again:
"Stronger people are harder to kill and more usefull in general"

Started doing some powerlifting style pure strenght stuf. Got a bit stronger however my metabolic conditioning went to shit. Now I do two workouts a week. One in the above style; Big compounds few exercises low reps. The second workout is a HIT style workout; 8-10 exercises all to utter failure for 8-12 reps no rest in between sets.

I also do some strong man stuff like farmers walks at home. And i ride my bike to work every now and than (~60km) whenever it isn't raining. So not recently.

From: Cordain L, Eaton SB, Brand Miller J, Mann N, Hill K. The paradoxical nature of hunter-gatherer diets: Meat based, yet non-atherogenic. Eur J Clin Nutr 2002;56 (suppl 1):S42-S52.

"the diets of hominids living in Europe during the Paleolithic were indistinguishable from top trophic level carnivores such as arctic foxes and wolves."

I've never heard of a pack of wolves leaving a carcass with a load of meat left on it because there wasn't enough fat to go with it
They would also eat the fatty organs, brains and most of the marrow.

I think he could have just as easily done it on cottage cheese, lean chicken and rice/pasta
Pretty much te standard diet of the worlds strong and huge. Like this guy Big Z (one of the strongest man ever)

Diet does not seem to limit strenght potetial to much as long as there is enough fuel and enough protein. Health is something else entirely off course
