I do equally well on raw and lightly cooked animal fat.

Really ???
I thought plant fiber was bad, so juiced would be better?

I also thought veg's ("juiced" kale, collards etc..) would give me the calcium i need b/c i just cannot do dairy.

Is there a good "animal" food source for calcium?

I  would not worry about calcium if you are not eating grains. The RDA is set artificially high because grains  take calcium from the bones. I would not bother with juice at all.

Since the last update, I've gone fully carnivore. I have been for over 3 weeks, and I feel ok which is a turn up for the books.

Sounds good!

Please explain how, why, if or whether eating only rabbits and no other foods is adviseable people with diabetes. This is for a relative who is trying to get another to go on an all rabbit diet.

What for?

Healthy well-nourished paleo women hadn't been so lean.
15% bf = very lean. If a woman is aiming for some finess competition then it's ok, for some period.
20% = healthy, sexual attractive woman

Women look different at body fat percentages. I would feel fat at 20%.

Klowcarb- how did you get to one meal a day?
I would really like to get there, yet i do my workouts first thing in the morning so i am not sure if that is wise for me.
But i am still curious how one can make it on  only one meal a day.  do you juice during the day or just drink water?
you must have a very big dinner ;D

It was a gradual drop from a late lunch and dinner to just a huge evening meal. Now it is easy. I drink hot tea and water all day long, and sometimes take salt, especially when I am lifting.

I am zc; you could not pay me to touch sugar (juice).

OK just discovered it's intermediate fasting. : )

Why do you fast? Are you prone to weight gain?

Fasting has nothing to do with being prone to weight gain. Have you ever been to leangains.com? Fasting has many benefits for those of us into paleo eating and bodybuilding.

It's paleo fact.  8)

What is so much of a paleo "fact" about this?

I could never go back to mulitple (more than 2) meals a day. It is so unnatural.

Isn't a pound about 1600 calories..
I'm sure it depends on the cut.

A pound of 85/15, which is what the base of my 1 meal a day is, is about 1000 calories. I add eggs/organs/butter/CO to get my desired caloric range.

Hard to say, raw-al, because my "cooking" is really warming in a pan. I did completely raw ZC for about a year, but I was not putting as much muscle on as I wanted, and foods I like to eat a lot of, like eggs, I did not like raw. So I went to lightly cooking my meat, eggs and organs and added butter and coconut oil. I really don't know what answer to give you. I consider myself paleo zero carb first, and semi - raw second.

I find I go more regularly with more salt in my diet. It has the plus that as an athlete I need more salt, and it is good for adrenals. I only eat one meal a day, so I add a lot of salt to it.

Klowcarb, was the food you ate cooked?

Cooked or raw hasn't mattered. I do mostly weightlifting and little if any cardio, and have no problem lifting on a full stomach. But that is in the past now that I IF.

what is not typical?.. that you are on birth control or that you have 15% bodyfat?.. both seem pretty norm to me.

BC is typical, but find many women at age 30 that have 15% bodyfat...unlikely in our society, and even in paleo circles.

WTF? I eat at least a pound, plus eggs, organs and butter/coconut oil. Your math is off, my friend.

Before I started IF and semi-fasted lifting, I would eat my huge meal of the day and workout right after that. No issues.

Thanks for the post, you rarely fail to give me a chuckle or at least a smile, which I appreciate.

You know I loooooooove you, Phil  :-* :-* :-*. I just felt that your earlier posts read like, "I feel best eating X, but I want to try Y, Z, A, B" and they kept failing. I didn't see why you kept seeking. I'm glad you are eating mostly animal fats and proteins, and if the small amount of honey works to increase your appetite so you do not lose too much weight, I am happy. Has it helped with the constipation? I know that was one issue that you could not resolve.

Thanks for the sweet compliments, my friend!  :-* :-*

About how much do you eat each day?

Lifting days, 2000-2100, non lifting days (just fasted cardio), 1600-1650.

Interesting. I never have that issue. And I eat one big meal in the evening before bed.

FTR, I agree I would be fat on eating tons of cream, milk and cheese. I eat ONLY grassfed butter or ghee for dairy.

I'm sorry you got so sick. But I would still pick a grainfed RUMINANT steak, probably lean, and supplement with grassfed butter or coconut oil if I did not have access to grassfed meat. I would do this over not eating meat at all--really stupid--or eating a bunch of fruit and vegetables.

You also assume grainfed = diseased. I do not buy your premise.

As far as I know butter is always a fat with one of the highest concentrations of all toxins.

Regarding dairy, I believe that the body building hype in California plays a big role. No other food is as fattening as dairy, especially cream and butter. And all these heroes want to be big and bigger as fast as possible...

Well, I must be fat from all the grassfed butter I eat. Oh, wait...15% BF is not fat, is it?

Hi,
Exercise after eating as harmful for health as it could cause stomach infection and cause it bleed internally.
There should be at least thirty minutes gap between eating and exercise..

Bullshit.
