I'd think cannibalism happened at certain points in time.
There had to be good reasons to do it: war, famine, etc.
It's not as if it was a standard feature or preferred staple food.
Very good point.

Trying to do the transition to a more raw lifestyle.

How do u make raw eggs taste good and other foods?

I Appreciate it :P

I am having a problem enjoying
Try adding spices or sauces to meats (dipping meat in olive oil mixed with sea salt and spices is good). I don't usually eat aggs (if I do only the yolks). But they taste good in a smoothy, with banana and frozen berries.

Just plain, I like the yolks. I made ground bison jerky and dipped it in egg yolks. It was delicous.

I got it at an asian store. they had whole durian and forzen.

My mom always took me to the hispanic store elrey. Something I had from that store taste just like durian. Maybe some kind of candy or popsicle flavored with durian.

Its oddly familiar, I like it.

the first bite I was like.. People don't like this?

Andrew off of bizarre foods must be really used to junk food, to not like something with such a unique flavor and apreciate it.

What is the taste like?
I swear I think my mom fed it to me somehow. it is very very familiar taste, We used to get mexican popsicles all the time, that might of had a flavor like it. i definitely recognize the taste

burnt flavor (like burnt caramelized onions somwhat) not a stronge onion taste though (just like caramelized onions fried in som oil), very very sweet, creamy texture, a hint of banana, but mainly caramelized onions

so the burnt flavor, and very very sweet, creamy texture, like ice cream when partially frozen

it was frozen and thawed,

My eldest boy got pissed one day when I said don't eat the cooked vegetables, I'd rather give you raw salads.
Hahaha. That is really funny.

I love my mom . I am lucky! She even goes wild berry picking with me. And ate my wild rabbit stew. :)

I have no kids. But my nephew loves me. He eats raw jerky with me. He knows fruit and meat is the best.

That's the only thing I don't like about the video. We have to change the world, not run away from it.

@the president
Yeah I thought the same baout the dog meat haha. Knowing that the dog was fed garbage.

I like it. But I would have liked it more if would have tried to guide his mom. I guess what I took from it, he hated the way society was.
But also hated his mom because she was so consumed into societies ways.

So he had to leave her.

But my mom thankfully didn't when I when she raised me (but she smoked when she was younger for a bit I think).
And I was breast fed for 2 years I think.

I always feel bad for children who's parents smoke. I was fortunate. This kid in the movie had NO CHOICE!

The sign of dog's eating grass, when that dog is not healthy.
Yeah, I was going to mention that. They sometimes eat plants to make themselves throw up. My sisters dog did that before.

We are getting a dog.
Japanese spitz.
Puppy.
How to adjust him to a raw food diet for dogs?
raw meat, veggies (raw?)

What do you feed your dogs?
Is that a small dog? I guess the best meal would be a whole rabbit. With organs and all. 1-2  meals a day would be best too.

No veggies are needed, dogs eat grass and other things on their own as long as you let thme outside. You could get him some pet grass.

sully: yeah, andrew zimmern can eat some weird stuff but for some reason durian is his nemesis. he just can't handle it. it's strange
Yeah, he actually seems to prefer animal foods over many odd plant foods.

I am curious if I would like durian.

ha, i believe they're one in the same. lamb is just young sheep i think. but beef too! and of course we're gonna forage for grubs and stuff
Yeah, lamb is young sheep, I was wondering if they slaughter most of them a year or under. Which would make it lamb.

It's going to be great.
