drag. raw crab seems to be one of those foods that tastes better raw than cooked. I really enjoy scallops and a few other kind of seafood raw, but at least my recollection of the cooked versions is still tastier.
Large scallops, mmmmmmmm those are amazing.

As repeatedly stated elsewhere, toxicity depend on the dose and By the way, the first time I ate oysters was somewhere in Baja California in 1989. There was still a lot of wild shellfish and fish there. Very good place to live in the wild, you can camp on a beach for several days till you have no more food and soft water, without seeing any human being.
Sounds nice. Prob much different now though, because so much can happen in 20 years.

Hey btw. what about snails in rivers and ponds?

I am lost in these debates.

What's this about dragging a 100kg animal for miles?
No one would have to do that by themselves back in the days. They had brothers and relatives to help carry or butcher.

As far as polygamy vs monogamy. I do imagine that people had multiple sexual partners back in paleo days throughout an entire lifetime. But who knows how many and the social structer of that? No one.

Humans are not gorrillas, wolves, lions or baboons.
I wouldn't munch down some organs while everyone waits their turn, or have all the woman to myself if I was the dominant one in a tribe.

I would share organs, and I only need one woman. Their would be too much back stabbing in a tribe where dog eats dog is applied. I want everyone's trust in a tribe, whether I have 1 or 5 women. A stronge tribe is a tribe that cooperates.

In a tribe where everyone eats big game animals raw. Everyman man and person is needed to cooperate to hunt and watch young ones. Healthy people who cooperate = a peaceful group/tribe.

If it's fine to eat the meat of dead animals, and even high meat, why would it be bad to eat dead oysters?
I don't know.

The black spots and foul taste I experienced may be a different sign. Diseased or sickened oyster?
They are filter feeders and take in any toxins from their enviroment. Which explains why some are bad and some are good.

I am sure the good ones are fine aged or dead.

really?!?  so frustrating!!  are they labeled as such?
I am not sure. If they are packed check the ingredients. If not, ask the butcher.

I think they do it to shrimp and scallops. Maybe clams and oysters too.

Black spots inside, I don't know. There can be some colored spots on the inside of the shell I think. I don't really care about it.
I will try to get a pic next time. I already threw the shells out.

But there are ones that have spots that look sespicious. These are the ones that taste off or different. So I don't eat them.

The good ones are.....good.  :)

I only dislike raw oysters which are more than 5 days old, since sale. Otherwise I love the stuff.
I see, but the lack spots etc. Maybe the oyster died?
A disease? Crack in the shell?

They are great fresh. Amazing taste. Large scallops too.
I hear some things are coated with a sodium preservative though.

I had some oysters today.

Once before I had an oysters with black spots on the inside. I didn't eat it. Thought it was suspicious.

Today, I had an 4 osyters, 1 was fresh and nice, 2 were diff and tasted like old pond water, the last one was ok but i saw the black spots.

It seems hit or miss sometimes.

Any insight?

Edit: The bad ones tasted almost like clams, like bitter or something. Well not bitter, but that one taste if you know what I mean.

Lol, it means, "welcome!" You know more than I do, habibi - I only know a handful of words (aiwa!, shukran). I know more ME rhythms.

Habibi, I do no that one. My love, or love I think. Aiwa! I remember hearing that all the time. I forgot what it means...

Shukran, thank you. Afwan, is your welcome, or at least that's how it sounded hearing it.

It's a wonderful language. I might go to a mosque to take arabic.

Nice build KD! Keep it up!

As far as height and body weight for men.
It all depends on what percent of your weight is muscle.

Has anyone here experimented with making primitive tools to develope ones arms?

Edit: As long as you got a good amount of muscle, with a thin layer of body fat. All is well.
As far as physique.

I actually think a low arch is common in tribal people walking bare most of their life.

Edit: My mom's high arch must be from the horrible shoes woman wear nowadays.

The arch looks a little flat to me, but you do have some arch and that may improve with RPD and barefoot walking because mine did. No guarantees of course.
I don't think arch has much to do with shoe wearing and RPD in some cases. My mom's arch is much higher than mine and she doesn't do RPD and wore shoes her whole life. She's 60.

lol at the 'hand', that is crazy different!

Hmm I'm not sure about the arch.
Your arch looks about the same as mine from what i can tell.

BTW
What it be, to see a neanderthal in person, or any human during that paleo period.
Studying human past during paleo period is very interesting to me.

I wish I did, Sully. I'm just a huge fan of Arabic pop (classical Arabic music too). Arabic - both language and music - is heaven/dessert to my ears (must be the past life/lives!). Do you speak Arabic? Ahlan wa sahlan! :)
What does that mean? hehe
No, I don't speak arabic. I learned a bunch of words though when I visited family in Jordan.
I know pretty much every fruit and meat. And some vegetables. And otehr basic stuff. I can't speak in sentences.

Reminds me of my uncles feet. High or low arch?
