Title: Raw Eggs causing baldness a myth??

I have read that eating raw eggs can cause baldness. Is there any factual proof to back this up? Does eating Raw eggs cause biotin deficiency?

Raw egg whites will cause baldness cause the avidin in it binds biotin leading to biotin deficiency leading to baldness if eaten long term.

This is why we only eat egg yolks, egg whites have avidin and enzyme inhibitors. Egg yolks are good.

Many dispute this notion as an urban myth and that there is easily enough biotin to counter the avidin's effect. Plus some RVAFers eat raw fertilised eggs whose avidin levels are severely lowered.

I eat the whole things. About 10 months in and I am doing wonderful.

I have eaten the whole thing for the last year and a half and I and my GF have noticed a regrowth of my bald head. I am not suggesting that the egg was the cause but it certainly could not have been a hindrance.

Just to let you guys know I have eaten raw eggs for 3 years and know people who have been eating them up to 10 years without ill effect. It's hard to believe anything you hear.

6-15 a day recently, I only eat eggs in the morning.
Eating the whole thing, feeling great.
