after starting a raw/paleo diet, any truth to them?

I've heard several reports. I myself had irises so dark pre-rawpalaeo, that they were almost black. The outer edges of my irises then lightened up a tiny bit when I went in for raw muscle-meats, but darkened again when I introduced raw dairy into my diet(sure enough, I found that I was allergic to raw dairy). Then, after going in for raw organ meats and cutting out the raw dairy, my irises started to lighten again. My iris-colour seems to change pretty slowly, usually, but the outer half is now more pale-green than brown, with the iner half of the iris being light-brown.

I haven't for myself but I may simply not store toxins in my irises. I used to think these claims were bogus until credible people started making them. I know Tyler has experienced them.

I got told my eyes looked really blue after I started eating RAF. I've noticed a couple of times too.

I never really thought about it but I guess people do store their toxins in different areas, some around their bellies, glans, some in their irises some people have bags under their eyes.

Some people might also be constantly ridding themselves of toxins putting a strain on the organs. My liver function tests were high normal after even 5 weeks raw. Three months after that, they were about half. So, even if we appear healthy on the outside, our eyes, etc., the wrong diet could be wreaking havoc on the inside. I think I tend to gradually detox or detox at 3 AM like you said.

Other people's bodys might say, "hey, this is toxic we can't handle it now. Let's deal with it later when our next IF comes." But for many, that IF cycle never comes so they are constantly becoming more toxic. When they go raw it all comes out. Just a theory of course. I could be way off.
