Instincto / Anopsology / Instinctive raw eating in practice
« on: March 23, 2011, 05:03:14 pm »
We talked a lot about the theory of instinctive raw eating. But what about the praxis?
I think some ideas for the practice can be helpful for people who are interested in the subject. So I want to invite all instictive raw eaters to give an insight in their daily menus. :)

My menus of the last days have looked this way:
Sunday (20.03.2011) I started drinking water with red loam. Before midday I went outside into my garden to "pasture" some wild herbs like dandelion, wild garlic, lamb's lettuce or daisies. I didn't select this herbs by smell (till now there are only a few herbs which I can select by smell though my smell becomes better every year of instinctive raw eating) but by sight: I taste every herb which attract my attention and if it tastes good I continue eating till the instinctive stop. The quanty was about 50g. Two hours later the smell of a Mango Nam dok mai raised into my nose. For dinner I had 100g of a honey comb.

Monday (21.03.2011) I started with tamarind in the morning and before midday I went out to pick up some herbs. Later on I ate 100g of young spinach leaves. In the afternoon I drunk water with red loam (it tastes so good at the moment :) ) and later on I finished the day with lamb liver and fatty meat.

On tuesday (22.03.2011) I drunk about one liter of water inclusive a little bit of seawater. For lunch I had four chicken eggs and in the evening abou 200g fatty lamb meat.

Display Your Culinary Creations / Crustacea
« on: March 18, 2011, 04:25:24 pm »
On tuesday I went fishing (in a nearby supermarket ;) ) and captured some crustacea:

Above an edible crab, some langoustines and goose barnacles. The crab was still living and I killed it by opening the thorax. How you can do this is shown here: How to open a crab.

I stored him 24h in a cool basement. Yesterday the smell of the innards rose into my nose and I ate them. They taste a little bit like a salty bouillabaisse. It's my experience that the flesh of the legs needs at least three or four days before it really tastes good so I stored the legs again and completed my dinner with langoustines. I ate seven of them. It was a delicious and satisfying dinner. :)

Instincto / Anopsology / European summer paradise
« on: July 17, 2010, 01:59:48 am »
Sometimes (especially in winter) I envy people living in the tropics who can enjoy wonderfol fruits collecting them fresh from the trees or buying them on a local market when I have to order them weekly from some consigner of tropical fruits.

In summer all the envy vanishes. Now I enjoy not only tropical fruits but berries, fruits and wild herbs of my own garden. For example gooseberries:

My favorite, raspberries:

And currants, which are sometimes a little acid but very refreshing:

Some days there is no need to complete a meal with tropical fruits to be satisfied thanks to the plentitude of local european plants.

And grashoppers, ants und their eggs complete even albuminous meals. It's a real paradise. :)

Display Your Culinary Creations / My dinner
« on: July 16, 2010, 04:06:11 am »
Today I selected my dinner between three dishes:

First plate:

These are langoustines fished in the Atlantic Ocean.

Second plate:

A mackerel and a piece of halibut, rested from my yesterday dinner.

Third plate:

Today I was really a lucky fisher :). After three years of looking for wild salmon I found someone in a big supermarket in Luxembourg.

My nose selected the langoustines. They tasted wonderful and I was completly satisfied. :) I tried a little piece of the salmon though it didn't smell anyway to make my body know with the new product.

Welcoming Committee / Hello from Germany
« on: July 11, 2010, 02:05:20 pm »
I would like to introduce myself: As you see, Germany ist my native country. I am nearly 50 years old and a long time ago I studied biology. Frustrated about the way, how science was practiced, I diceded to do something more useful and raised a family: I gave birth to four children. :)

Health problems with my first son forced me to review the human way of living und I started to change my live. One important change was trying to live instinktive raw. It was really only "trying", because I never integrated animal products in my nutrition. Three and a half year ago finally my "trying" changed in "doing": I integrated animal products in my nutrition and since then I am living from 100% raw food.

I am happy to participate in that wonderful scientivically experiment. And I hope I find in this forum some fellow species for exchange of experiences. :)

English is not my native language, I hope it will be not so hard for you to understand my style of writing and  please oversee my orthographic mistakes.
