Any musicians?

What do you play? For how long? Do you write/compose any of your own work?

I played guitar for years but haven't been playing at all recently. I studied for a year in college too; I had to study classical guitar there but in leisure I play rock and blues style more.

Well, I'm not sure if this counts at all - but I used to play the recorder quite well(and the flute rather badly!). That's about it, I'm afraid! I know one other who's a professional musician(orchestra-player?) raw-animal-foodist  in Florida but that's all!!!

i suppose i am, ive played bass and guitar in a few bands and have been doing a silly solo thing where i play a bunch of instruments. i guess id be more comfortable saying i love music, i dont see myself making a living of it any time soon :'(

I was in the Marine band as a French horn player for 4 years. I was quite succesful in high school on the horn playing in honor bands and shit. Haven't really pursued it since I left the military except some dabble in bass guitar. I'm still passionate for music and'll probably end up playing again. Probably bass and classical guitar.

yeah, ive fallen off a bit after being sick for a while...ive been eating the same but was somewhat disheartened.i think i need the reinforcement of keeping up on this forum, so ill be around.

This thread just caught my eye, after being here for a month or so. Anyway, cool to see that there are a few musicians here. I'm a full-time musician based in Los Angeles. I play woodwinds -- sax, flute, clarinet in all kinds of settings (horn for hire basically), and also compose/arrange/orchestrate for film/tv.

yeah I haven't been on here much lately either, and my diet's been pretty awful as well...
I think I should change both of those things.
