Interesting thread.
I am wary of supplements but animal source supplements like Cod Liver Oil or plant based supplements like farm raised ( free of contaminents) Spirulina are my first choice.

It seems more natural to take Cod Liver oil than to down some D3 supplements in my opinion.

Maybe I am wrong but a natural healing doctor was on the net speaking about how an animal source supplement is superior to just taking Vitamin D3 or A seperately.

I find that I don't feel that good the morning after eating raw dairy and I feel worse with regular dairy.

First off, Organic Valley boils the raw milk only a few degrees under what is considered pasteurized. They also boil it   a number of degrees above what is actually considered really raw cheese.

It is not really raw and they are calling their raw cheese raw. Most companies even if they are small are not as raw as they claim.

I do occasionally eat a small amount of raw goat cheese from Spain called, "Manchengo."
I am not totally sure about how raw it is but I eat it occasionally and it is o.k if you don't over-do it.

I do think that raw meats are healthier if they are grass fed and organic.

I do enjoy raw fish ..raw eggs if they are free range and so on.

Beware when people claim that their raw cheese is actually really raw. Do a bit of research on the company  etc...

Good blog.

General Discussion / Re: Iris colour change on a raw animal food diet

Wow, cool thread. My eyes and skin always look better when eating raw free range eggs whole or just the yolk.

Since I have been extremely high raw to 100 percent raw which is what I am trying to do now, I have noticed my eyelashes literally growing.

I do a raw paleo but I do eat sprouted Buckwheat groats.

I eat raw wheat germ sometimes, not very much so I am not completely paleo. I am a raw foodist who eats animal foods. Interesting thread indeed.

I wish that I had the guts to do raw free range liver. Sometimes I eat steak tartare but I haven't progressed to raw liver. I have no problem with raw fish. :)

That sounds great. I am on a raw food diet and I feel concerned that I am eating too much saturated fat as I love fat. I don't cook anything or fry anything, it is all raw.
I get compliments on my skin all the time and it seems weird to me because I don't think that I look that amazing as they tell me I do. The raw diet must be doing something that I can't notice as much as other people.

I am concerned with consuming too much saturated fat. Should I be? :)
