Killed a wild bird today

I was outside today with a pelite gun i shot the bird he fell from the tree. Then I ripped his head off and I ate him the meat tasted like cow. Ofcourse my family thinks I'm crazy now cus it was thanksgiving day and I was the only one that didn't eat except the bird.
