Title: Radish varieties, reviews
Post by: goodsamaritan on March 05, 2016, 07:59:43 pm
Past few months I've been enjoying Japanese Radish / Daikon? with my sashimi (raw fish).

This type of radish is not so strong like the common radish we usually have.

This Japanese radish you can eat on its own without stinging your mouth / tongue.

I think it also fills my requirement for raw starch.

Let this thread be a depository for Radish varieties and reviews.

Err, I have only ever eaten one kind of radish(red and white), never knew of any others. I love the sharp taste, almost as sharp as wild garlic leaves.

I buy Korean radish - mu - to eat sliced fresh or fermented. It's a type of daikon. The leaves are also edible.
