Wow! Success!
« on: January 31, 2015, 08:11:59 am »
I've only been doing this for a few days, and if some of you read my older post, I have seriously bad asthma and fatigue. So I have been easing into this diet and notice changes already!

So today I JOGGED with my dog at the park. This is the first time in months I was able to do this. Not only was I able to jog, but I walked on the sand bars along the river and even hiked a trail. All of this was 2 hours worth of activity and, I didn't need the inhaler once, nor did I need the neb when I got home. My fatigue is easing off. I woke up today and actually didn't lay in bed an extra 2-3 hours. I heard my alarm, my cat attacked me, I woke up and didn't take a nap on the couch (which used to be routine after waking up). I went out to the park and did a lot of activity (My dog sure enjoyed the extra fun lol).

I'm still not on full raw paleo but taking a slow approach. I eat pork and chicken cooked still but organs, seafood, oysters, fish, beef, veggies, fruit etc are raw. (I space my cooked and raw meals out from each other for about 12 hours).

I'm also, like, never hungry. I used to want to eat all the time.

Yesterday was when I began to notice a change. I didn't need an inhaler for a short jog and the walking, but only needed a neb after getting home. Today I needed neither :)

There are few faster ways to make me smile than witnessing someone discover how to beat a chronic illness that has been dragging them down. Power to the people! Power over your health.

I just love it.

I'm so far having another great day. I woke up much earlier.

Okay so the foods I eat daily are
A banana + tumeric root smoothie (I don't know if this is paleo. I used this for my sore knees and now eat out of habit)

Raw oysters, fish, also sardines (are these raw?)
Raw beef organs/muscle meat. Chicken hearts. Liver (any species, but I mostly come across chicken) I looooooove raw liver (I HATE it cooked)
However I am still eating all pork muscle meat cooked.
Broccoli, berry fruit (blueberries strawberries etc)

What I have been doing lately is I always eat that smoothie after waking. I eat a cooked meat meal (pork chops) if I happen to feel like it. If not, I skip out for a veggie/fruit or raw meal. If I do eat cooked, I will eat the raw 8 hours later to avoid digestive upset.

Thanks for all the help :) I am amazed how fast this worked on me!
