I have one, but I keep it turned off most of the time (i.e. on airplane setting so it's not transmitting or receiving) and never keep it on my person. When I use it to talk, I have it on speakerphone so that it's not too close to me when turned on. I'm not against them, I just treat mine with caution.

Wonderful for productivity.
Bad for health.
I have 3 phones with me all the time plus an ipad2.
I think they are making me ill.
Must get rid of them.

Never want an Iphone.... or an Ipad. I have a cellphone but it is an older Nokia and I use it as little as possible, never carry it on my body. It usually stays in the kitchen and I switch it off at 8-9 PM and on 8 AM. I hate to talk on it. So if needed I try to keep it really short and keep it a bit away from mt ear / use the speakers option.

GS... they are for sure making you ill. Get rid of them ASAP.

It is not only the radiation.... I think they take people away from the real life too. It is just too sad how important they have become. I see they are useful but this is going just too far.
here people are on their smart phones all the time... even children have them. It is status. For children...? sick.

Gs,  their real danger is long term placement against the body.  I keep mine off when not in use, use a headset when using for any length of time, or the speaker phone and simply hold in front of my mouth about ten inches away.  But again, the micro wave effect lessens dramatically  within inches  away from a body part.

For the past 2 days I had been rearranging my living / working arrangements.

So last night I left my IPAD and 1 cell phone and 1 smart phone in the office.

Also my home desktop is now in the office.

I only have my laptop at home... I'm planning to install a Network Accessible Storage machine at home so we can store our bulk data there.

And brought home 1 cell phone.

Ha ha... an improvement!

On a sufficiently good diet, the radiation from cell phones and Wifi may actually be hormetic, at least for some people.

I do own a smartphone, and do not fear it. If their radiation were so dangerous, they'd already be banned, is my opinion.

This guy Lloyd shows convincingly that they are all harmful: wifi, cell phones, towers, etc.

http://www.electricsense.com/

My wife and I sleep better with the wifi off.

I feel bad with 3 cell phones, dual sim each.

I really need to cut down.

Listen to his radio interview.

have you seen what's allowable in terms of cell phone strength in many countries in Europe?  Most allow a fraction of what is permitted here.

Really? Have any links with more info? I'd love to read up on that.

Sorry, no, that info came from an hour long bps radio broadcast with noted experts in the field.  Also what came out of it was the strong suggestion to limit the amount of time placing the phone against the head, since the energy of phones is like that of a micro wave, and prolonged usage actually heats up cells which causes damage, i.e., brain tumors.
