Previous figures suggested a mere 45,000 years for the interbreeding between Neanderthals and early modern humans, now it is 55,000 years ago. These dates constantly change, becoming older and older. All we need is for evidence of interbreeding occurring more than 200,000 years ago or so and the Out of Africa theory is dead.
