The article refers to new evidence suggesting that Homo Habilis left Africa and that Homo Erectus, its successor species,  originated in Asia and then eventually migrated to other parts of the world including Africa. So, all these past OoA claims  about all hominids ultimately originating in Africa  turn out to be pure nonsense. When I first read as a child the OOA claims, I immediately realised that it made no sense for ancient apemen to stay in Africa once they developed the ability to walk on 2 legs.Logically, they must have spread all over the Old World.
