Hmm, the teeth of our palaeo ancestors were apparently much tougher so the above feat would likely have been dead-easy for them to do.

It used to take me 5 minutes or more with a pocketknife when I lived on a tropical beach.

i bought one at the store and tried a hammer on it along with a sharp knife.  too much trouble so for now i just buy the shredded

I can't find the video, but I remember someone once posting about some athlete who would eat whole raw chickens and could devour a whole coconut in under a minute?

While I don't doubt that such a feat would have been easy for them, coconuts were not present in the vast majority of Paleolithic habitats, so most Stone Agers would never have seen one, much less opened it with their teeth.
