I mentioned this article because there have been a number of fad diets that focused on regional differences, now they seem era-related, it seems. What is interesting from the article is that the Victorians ate  far more food than we do daily, though with far more daily exercise, and that their foods were still largely unprocessed as they had limited food-preservation methods. Also, given Weston-Prices's observations re cats, it would be interesting to find out how many human generations it would take on a highly processed diet before serious problems occurred frequently such as increased  infertility/genetic defects etc.
