Alright, so this is a bit one-sided. However, I once had a nasty experience with antibiotics. Fortunately, for me, it involved me experiencing  just a massive vomiting-and-diarrhea experience soon afterwards, in a sort of detox. The nurse absurdly claimed that it was impossible to have negative side-effects from antiobiotics. My own father was given antibiotics as a child, He felt so near-death afterwards that he had to hide the pills he was given later on in a crack in the wall outside the hospital  window-sill. The reason was that the nurse had threatened him with punishment if he did not swallow the pills. He credited this rebelliousness with him living another 60+ years of life.
