Well, it's a start. Perhaps, many decades later, these morons  will deem raw eggs to be safe to eat for most humans....

Interesting. And you misread, they're already saying they're safe for most humans. Apparently, before they were saying they were safe for most but not for pregnant women or children, and that seems to be what they changed.

The funny part is that salmonella is in everything, in water, in vegetables, even in our own skins. I would be wary of eating those "salmonella-free" eggs. They must carry a lot of toxicity to be able to sterilize them from all salmonella.
