Title: Food Sources

For me, I'm all about the farmer's markets for the most part with an occasional online splurge :)

I'm a member of a co op, which is most closely like a farmers market. Also I order from Slanker's, which is online but I call them with the old fashioned telephone, so I guess that's online sources. I put mixture.

I'm so excited, I just placed my first Slankers order yesterday.  I mostly ordered fats... marrow and suet.  I've never had either.  I can get grass fed meat, but only the lean.  It's hard to get suet, even from the farmers I know because they already have an arranged agreement to sell it to businesses such as those that hand-make soaps, etc.

It should arrive on Friday, will be like Christmas in May!

I don't get food from the supermarkets.
There is no online food ordering in my country.
There's no real farmers' markets here.

I buy veggies and duck from specialty organic shops open weekends.
I buy fruits from the wet market fruit vendors, and some wild and from our trees, or other people we know.
I buy big fish and small fish from the fish port.
I buy other fish and other sea creatures from the wet market.
I buy beef from the wet market.
I buy goat from the specialty goat stalls or the wet market.
Other stuff like fertilized eggs from a lady who is in healthy stuff.
Other stuff when we go on provincial drives.

It's a labor of love driving around.
