Interestingly, it reminded me of something a friend once told me about people originating from Congo and the nearby regions. Apparently, they have a harder time making plans and projecting themselves in the future, because they have evolved in an environment where resources were abundant nearly all year round. On the other hand, people who evolved in temperate and cold climate had to prepare in advance for the harsher winter days, by stocking food, building shelters, making clothes, moving to places with more animals to hunt, etc
These pictures probably mentally bring us back to those times, in a way.
