Title: Back after a long time
Post by: smokeyquartz on June 11, 2026, 07:18:14 am
Hey Everyone. I have been away for a long time. The last two years of my life were very difficult.
When I used to post here, I was trying to follow raw carnivore. That didn't work for me, and I became addicted to caffeine while on that diet. After a while, I instinctively was drawn to more alkaline foods. I felt confirmed in my new food choices by what Aajonus said in his book about people doing better on white meat v red meat according to whether they produce more red it white blood cells. I also knew that my excessive period clots were caused by me eating so much protein. I then went in the total opposite direction and learned about the Mucusless Diet, which proposes that all disease us caused by obstruction. It made sense to me, and I cut out all meat (red meat, chicken, and fish). I ate a LOT of fruit but still kept drinking the caffeine and had cooked vegetarian dinners. Unfortunately, this high fruit consumption might have had a bad effect on me combined with the caffeine. I was feeling really ungrounded and distressed from the events of the past two years, and because fruit is a detoxing food, I think it made my emotional state much much worse than a more grounding diet. Just yesterday I had salmon sushi for the first time in over two years. I can't say yet what effect it has on me, I know my body is not at the level of health that it can digest red meat (I was not good at digesting it two years ago, and I instinctively do not feel any draw towards it yet).
The conclusion I have reached is that I do still believe in raw food and that disease is caused by obstruction (Mucusless Diet). But I think the human body goes through periods of detoxing and then rebuilding. I think fruit should be used for detoxing, but then a period of rebuilding, including probiotic meat and then raw fresh meat.
I also reread some of Aajonis's book and remembered how he emphasized intake of fats to absorb the toxins that are detoxed. So, he would combine the fruit with fat for this reason. I believe I am full of obstruction and not yet able to eat a high raw meat diet. So, I think I will focus on fruit, fats, and some raw fish. I guess that is the Wai diet.
I just wanted to say hi. I remember when this place was more active. I really appreciate how open minded everyone here is, and the wide variety of approaches from everyone. It changes over time, with the body
