Title: Is English a second language for a lot of you?

Hey i just noticed that lots of this forums members are from other countries and continents and still can write in perfect English. What is your first language?

Spoken, my first language is Tagalog.
Written, my first language is English.

English is kind of an international language so it should not be too surprising.

I heard that it was pretty widespread as a second language but its amazing how well everyone knows it.

I guess some coutryes have it as an official second language (India, Nepal...). English is kind of a globlal language, so it's important to learn it. It's also important if you want to get a good job.

Thats crazy because maybe 1 in 10 people i know speak a second language. I guess just another disadvantage of living here. -[

You do realize that most people who find this diet are in the top 1 or 2% of intelligence, right?
