Title: Do you eat meat or fat first?
Post by: yon yonson on March 13, 2010, 09:54:52 pm: i've seen this come up pretty often so i thought it'd be a good idea to see what everyone's doing when it comes to eating fat or meat first. i used to eat fat first but now i eat meat first. i can't really remember much of a difference, but please let us know if you've noticed a marked difference.

I used to eat fat and meat together for quite some time. I realized this was a problem for me as I could not eat enough protein. The fat was filling me up immediately.

Now I do what Tyler does and eat the fat last.

Post by: Paleo Donk on March 13, 2010, 10:15:43 pm: I've just started eating fat first and will usually eat all the fat first. A few times I have felt nice and full from just the fat and felt like I could have waited until the next day to eat again. But, I'll always eat the lean meat as well because I can't fathom a day without protein. I might try fasting from lean for a day and see how I feel though in the future.
