Title: white stringy stuff on fish?

i got a cut of wild caught swordfish, theres long wild stringy stuff on it, i pulled some out.. any idea what this could be

I'm not sure what it is but I believe I've had the same. Maybe it's connective tissue? I eat it down and have no problems with it. :)
