The S 510 is a bill that if passed, basically will put organic farmers out of business and we will have to rely on monsanto and big agribusiness. If you ever wanna eat grassfed meat again, go to this site http://www.healthfreedomusa.org/, go to the take action section, and write your congressmen against the S 510 bill. yes but everybody in the US who eats RPD needs to take this seriously. If this gets passed say goodbye to the freedom to choose the foods you want. I know I dont look forward to eating what monsanto has to offer.

I agree with you Pioneer. The people on this forums though are not morons and will find this thread and sign if they are inclined. Having it posted in a half dozen sub-forums will just cause problems.

The process is really easy, you go on the website and just type in your zip code, then you are able to email your congressman and obama, there is already a letter written for you to them, you dont have to send that one though, you can write your own. However, that letter sums up everything about opposing the bill. This is about freedom guys. Just take the 2 minutes and write them, literally, 2 minutes. I did it last night.

Its all part of this CODEX that asshole Mccain is promoting. He is the reason for these bills. Its already happening in the UN. Its only a matter of time before it happens to us unless we stand and speak against it. Everyone interested in these international topics needs to go to healthfreedomUSA.com. Even though it is a USA site, the topics pertain internationally as well. Parts of Europe are already adopting Codex, will you let it happen to us?
These bills are NOT provided information to the people and we only know about them if we search for them. Thankfully, many healthy advocates and such have brought this stuff to our attention. Nevertheless, these bills are all decided upon by congress, not the people, so why dont we all just stop this nonsense and get our senators and congressmen on our side. Tell them all to vote against or put a hold on the s 510, and other bills like it. There is also a new bill that may be passed in the near future called the supplement safety act. It basically says all supplements are only available by prescription and the doses in them are not in therapeutic amounts. Imagine a world where you need to go to the pharmacy with a script from your doctor for vitamin D, and they only give you capsules of 500iu a day, doses that will do nothing for your health, and on top of it, your bound to pay high fees for these vitamins. You could end up paying $45 for some prescription vitamin c.
This issue is not about whether you guys believe in supplements or not. I sure as hell believe they have their place. This issue is about big government and large industry having complete control. This issue is about freedom.
These huge corporations want us to rely on them without having any competition. Total control. Imagine if the only food suppliers were monsanto and zeneca, along with the other agri giants, imagine if we had to eat that crap without a choice. This issue is about the freedom to do what we want with our property (our bodies). Our bodies are where our property rights start, and I find it appalling that they are trying to control this god given right. This god given right has been lost by the notion of it being a privilege. Privileges and rights are not synonymous, they are completely different. The right to healthy food is a right, not a privilege, and we need to tell them to stop trying to "protect" the "stupid" citizens, who cant think for themselves. America is turning into a socialist country, cant anybody see that?
There are a lot of bills that are important, but I see the CODEX, which is a strain of guidelines, further broken down into bills, as being the biggest threat to humanity. Millions of people will die without the organic food and supplements they depend on if these bills get passed.
