Title: Study on Testosterone increase just from pretending
Post by: wodgina on December 12, 2010, 01:31:55 pm
Interesting article about increasing testosterone by just faking confident body language.

Interestingly (as I've read before) bosses/business owners who are in positions of power have higher levels of testosterone (and lower cortisol) than sub ordinates in what are considered to be less stressful positions. I back this up with my own anecdotal experience.

I do too.
I bet this correlates to the "fake confidence until it's real" approach as well. At some point it becomes real and your testosterone levels are most likely elevated at that point.

Just goes to show that health is complicated and our hormones are affected by things other than diet. I enjoy being the boss, the stress is there but it's a different stress.

I remeber a TV program called brainiacs or something its from UK England TV.

They did an expiriement took 2 nerds checked their testosterone levels first
than 1 of em got cool black jacket motorcycle for a 1 week or and got a girl attached to him for this time
the second nerd they made him even nerdier lol after 1 week the nerd with black jacket got more Testosterone by 20 percent or something lol
