Post by: Ioanna on February 20, 2011, 10:33:53 am

I used only sun-dried edible French Green Clay as bentonite and one other were seen as somehow undesirable by other RVAFers(due to being volcanic in origin?). Clay is used for getting rid of toxins - parrots in the wild eat clay-filled soil in order to get rid of toxins/antinutrients built up after eating certain species of plants.

So does edible clay also interfere with absorption of nutrients from food sources?

AFAIK that's only a problem when you combine these clays with the food.

problem when you combine these clays with ...

... honey.  Do not eat clay mixed in together in the same sitting (or same mealtime) with honey.  I think that can make more toxins, in a way.  Ask AV if you will for better explanation.
