Title: Scandinavia
Post by: goliath on July 09, 2011, 08:36:12 pm
Hi, in a few weeks I'll travel via Sweden to Norway. Do you know of any good sources for a) grass fed/finished meat and b) high quality fish oil?
Of course I'm also very thankful for other suggestions.

I saw whale for sale when I was there and regret not buying it. It was in a Sami village. There's reindeer meat too.
I was on the chocolate milk and banana diet when I went unfortunately.

check out the Weston A price foundation, see if they have a local chapter leader and email ahead. Otherwise look for farmers markets on the web or organic producers online. Have fun!

Hi,
I just checked for Norway and Sweden on the site of the Weston Price Foundation. Unfortunately there are no chapters currently. A little tip for people travelling to Berlin. At the KdW (Kaufhaus des Westens) in the food section on the 6th floor they have raw cow and goat milk. Very delicious. They also have raw milk butter from France (cru beurre or similarly). At the food shop of Manufactum at Ernst Reuter Platz they advertise Vorzugsmilch which is raw milk however I checked and saw that it is pasteurised. They have raw butter, though.
