Any camping paleoers out there?

What were your experiences, food storage, basic camping tips you can share, etc. Would love to start camping in NY but i'm so inexperienced.

Where is there to camp in NYC? You mean in a tent in a camp-site? I've lived out in the woods for ~2months but what do you want to know?
