There is probably a certain amount of truth to it, especially since most people consume a lot of grains. Grains may tend to absorb moisture as they go through us.

I find that water makes me feel cold which is what Aajonus says.

I cannot consume a lot of water, I spend all my time running for a leak.

However a lot of people may discover that they really feel better with extra moisture, as it loosens up stuff which is stuck in the GI tract and motivates it out.

Some say you should drink  a number of litres a day...... Not me.

Also the water quality is a huge factor. Tap water and bottled water are usually bad news.

Raw food has a lot of water in it I think. I drink coconut water, raw milk, water from fruits. I only drink natural water when I need to.
