Title: Eat right for your bloodtype?
Post by: White shark on April 17, 2012, 02:37:12 am
I have read the book "Eat right for your bloodtype" written by D'Adamo and I follow it most of the time. At first I thought it sounded stupid, but actually when I read the book it really made sense. Im type 0, and according to the book type 0 should eat food that corresponds with the paleo diet. Type A should eat mostly vegetarian food with just a little meat. Type B can eat a lot of different things, and so can type AB. I have heard people having problems with arthritis like symptoms when they eat tomatoes and red bell peppers. I eat a lot of that and feel fine eating it, and he also writes in the book that blood type 0 have no problems with that, but some of the other types have.
Do you believe in the bloodtype diet? Are there others that follow the book?

D'Adamo himself has had to change his diet to some new variation, I forget what it's now called, but the idea he has now is that people only have tendencies as regards being negatively affected by certain foods, rather than outright food-intolerance.

I read about the diet and what did not make sense to me is that grains and dairy are supposedly good for some blood types like AB, when especially grains are just not "good".
