if i'm not mistaken milton friedman predicted it would not last a decade.  he is probably right just missed the timing.  another example where single currency can only work in a federation.  EU nations did not want to give up any sovereignty so here are the results.  the only winner in this mess is the almighty dollar and those who have lots of it.

Some pundits say this is all going according to plan.

A new euro bond will save everything.

And the united states of europe will be on track.
