Title: Easiest-to-Chew RawMeats?
Post by: DopeDivinity on June 27, 2012, 11:47:22 am
I have tried raw Beef Heart and I just had some Raw Round Steak... they were pretty tasty, and seem to give me good effects... but they were both quite chewy. Not too bad... but my head was hurting how much I had to chew that RoundSteak. The BeefHeart seemed to digest rather sluggishly, while the Steak seems to be digesting rather smoothly, based on how I feel from it right now... perhaps thanks to the SuperEnzymes I took with it. Anywho, I figure, the easier it is to chew, the easier it would be to digest... and not getting HeadPain from excessive chewing would be a nice bonus. So, in your experience, what is the most MeltinyourMouth RawMeat in town?... or on the block?... or ever? Girl.

You don't chew meat to liquify before swallowing.
You chew a small enough piece to taste and swallow.
For me 10 chews is enough then swallow.

Thanks for this information GS - now I understand that raw meat doesn't need much chewing then step 1 is to rip / bite / cut the meat into a piece that could be swallowed, give it a bit of a chew to puncture it, and then swallow. Its so easy : )

And now I think that raw meat is much more tender / softer than cooked and it is far moister.
Raw muscle is very subtle in taste though, with my cooked taste buds it is hard to taste anything!

Melt in your mouth:

- bone marrow
- various fish sashimi
- clams, oysters
- liver, brains
- sirloin cut small enough or bitten.
- eggs

Chewing is only needed for cooked meats. Look at dogs, they bite down once or twice and then bolt the meat down, just like most RPDers do.

Well, actually, unlike most others here, I rarely access other forums much, so it just seems as though I'm here more often than I am.

Well Tyler I really appreciate the time you and others put in helping helping out nubies like me with your RAVF experiences.

What other forums do you think others are into?

Interesting, very interesting.

I'm definitely interested in trying those MeltinMouth Meats you suggested... eggs being the only one I've tried raw.  :P

I've actually had salmon raw too... that is pretty soft except for the skin.

Well, it varies considerably.  At the very least, I very occasionally check av-skeptics, the cooked-paleodiet forums, and the raw vegan forums.
