Avocado, banana & eggs are great to make a sweet thick shake! Also some offal, greens, sprouts, no milk... >D

My morning shake is eggs (3-5) qrtr to half banana, a little vanilla extract and a wee bit of cocoa (not raw I know) powder. I second the avocado though.

I take about 2 cups of my harvest of kefir and put it in my VitaMix. I add berries, usually strawberries. Blend. While blending add stevia. It is ready to go, and even my picky 13 year old loves it. :)

Throw some raw honey in if you have some.

Ooooooh - THAT's an idea! What did you add your roses to AL? Do roses go with most things? Have you experimented with other flowers? I just love eating flowers.

I think some flowers may be not a good idea but roses are generally a good idea for energy and vitality. Rosehip jam is very good. But not paleo.

There are flowers to eat and flowers not to eat. I grow marigolds and nasturtiums to eat and eat the flowers of my crops that go to flower. One of my favorite flowers is fresh broccoli flowers.
So, what did you put with those rose petals? I have roses in my yard that I could use for that. The hips I know aren't paleo, but I do plan on making them into a powder anyway. Hell - they smoothies aren't paleo either!

Rose hip, the fruit, may be used in the primal diet, I'm not sure though. The flavor to me was always just tart. The petals, I think I should ask aajonus, as they may have a cleansing effect. Yes, its jam would be cooked.
