Today I watched this interesting documentary about Humans living in Nature.
It is a source of endless inspiration for me..

What fabulous people Aura, self reliant & content!
Thanks raw-al for the 4th segment - my wife says she was amazed at how health of the Papuans, strong and capable (the opposite of your lowest common denominator modern western human). It was interesting how the men and women had separate ends of the house, maybe one of the problems with modern society is we are expecting a couple to spent too much time together when we would each prefer to be with a group of like minded people of our gender. It would be really neat to go and live with a group like this for a few months.

As a kid in sea scouts we built multi-story towers out of natural wooden poles (50~100mm munuka trunks) and that was great fun. We also used to make huts in the forest. Now days kids are more likely to be linked in to a video screen!

In addition to diet, I wonder what opportunities we have to experience elements of these natural behaviors in our modern lives?

sooo those tarantulas cant be eaten raw because u hav4e to singe off the hairs?

I imagine they can be eaten raw, you'd just have to either scrape the hairs off, peel the skin off with a sharp knife, or just cut it open and eat the insides.
