Post by: svrn on December 05, 2012, 02:01:14 pm
I hear a lot of people saying that ground meat sucks but i love fresh or same day ground meats very much. Anybody with me?

I like ground meat when it's almost frozen (been out of the freezer for just a little while). I can't stand the stuff when it's thawed out, because it has the consistency of baby food...disgusting. Just my opinion.

I generally avoid ground meat. I haven't eaten it in over a year.

I don't mind it, but it's not as good as chunks of meat.

I'm fine with ground meats. But I too prefer chunks of meat.

I always overeat if I eat only raw ground meats. I also prefer the taste of chunks of  meat. Sometimes, ground meat can contain nasty chemicals, so can taste foul.

the ground beef I get at whole foods is ground up right there usually right before I get there with no chemicals. The thing I love about it most is how easy it is. Its no mess and I can just get it at whole foods when im out and eat it anywhere without having to tear chunks with my teeth and getting super messy.

i find that it makes me undereat though actually since when the meat is ground up it becomes so much bigger and it feels like im eating more than I am.

Well, I don't mind ground meat as long as it it is freshly minced, if not, there is always a concern of contamination which may lead to food poisoning.
