Title: Let us talk about more minerals
Post by: raw on January 05, 2013, 01:07:29 am
Just wondering that in this winter, if I just keep myself on egg yolks, meat, some organs, raw goat milk acidophilus and high meat... then where and how i will nourish myself with minerals? I also consume dead water spring water. Dr. Cassar mineral experiences are very interesting and very practical. I know that fresh blood has minerals, but I don't live in farms to get the fresh blood. Please, join this discussion and help me what to do to get minerals in body. Thanks.

I recommend seafoods for minerals, especially shellfish like scallops, oysters, and clams.

Me too. Raw oysters in particular.

I agree. But don't like the farm raised one and wild caught from polluted , radiated ocean, then what's the next choice?

Few areas are that polluted. You can still get hold of raw wildcaught fish, anyway.

Tyler, can I invest my money on good quality of seaweed to buy? So, I can put that in my dead water to mineral water?

Sounds like a good idea. I, though, would prefer collecting my own seaweed.

Well, a short 30 minute drive to collect a few kilos of seaweed doesn't seem a problem. There must be areas nearby which have tons of the stuff. Which reminds me, next time I go on holiday in the summer I need to collect a huge amount to make eventually into fertiliser.

i would search up where the seaweed companies and local harvesters are on the coast.  i know a major company "maine coast seaweed" harvests really delicious seaweed.  i have also come across individuals who harvest up there, i think one is "she sells seaweed" and a few others who sell at local markets.  perhaps make a weedend of it?  its definitely worth it if you can harvest larger amounts and set up a drying area.  also if you garden at all its a great amendment to compost and soil

Scallops and oysters (if wild caught) are too expensive. Clams sold at WF have many sands which are impossible to get rid of.   Are wild caught shrimps good enough for minerals?

If they're not farmed.

Scallops and oysters can be quite cheap if bought near the coast from a fishmonger, preferably at a farmers' market.

The sand won't harm you.  You can swallow it.

Are you sure? :o

Yes.  It's kind of gritty, but it won't harm you. I try to avoid eating it, just because I don't like the texture, but it's very safe.

Thank you. I will eat clams then. I like the taste.

Will the sand just come out the other end?

Mostly, yes.   Some of the minerals in sand are absorbable, and will dissolve in your stomach acid, like calcium.  Most of said is just quartz, though, which passes through you unaffected.

So sand could even provide absorbable calcium? Good to know. Thanks.

Most beach sand is partially made of tiny pieces of shells (clamshells, etc.), in addition to the tiny bits of rock. Some beach sand also contains other useful minerals, depending on the type of rock that the sand is made from.

Tallow mixed with raw grass-finished beef plus the iodine protocol works for everyone who has tried it AFAIK.
This should fix a mineral deficiency.
If you still have problems after a fair trial, look for sources of poisons/toxins/pollutants including all sorts of radiation - these can cause a host of problems, including prevention of proper digestion.

I will not frown upon sand from now on but regard it as a free mineral supplement. :)
