Title: The Future of Medicine
Post by: raw-al on February 05, 2013, 11:23:38 pm
I received this from a Doctor friend.

It does not address cause, but could be used to if careful thought is given to it possibly, but so you know what's in the cards here 'tis

My pleasure. I also found this:

The Body Electric - Dr Becker (http://www.scribd.com/doc/5360459/The-Body-Electric-Dr-Becker#)

It's a downloadable book and if you go to spokentext.net you can convert it to MP3 so you can listen to it on your iPod etc. Easier than reading.

One of his other books is 'Cross Currents'. It's a brilliant book which explores electromedicine. Starts by trying to tease out why salamanders can regenerate limbs and up to 40% of their heart.

The late Dr Becker is a genius.

Use the SpokenText free trial wisely as you get 7 freebies of a max of 300,000 words max per file. Then you pay.

Thanks Raw!

Here's another device. If this is the same one I was shown by a Vaidya it has been around for awhile, but it is reduced in size dramatically:

http://vedapulse.com/ (http://vedapulse.com/)

It does Ayurveda and I believe Tibettan medicine pulse diagnosis. If it's the same one I saw, it would recommend an herb or whatever, then if you held that herb or whatever in your hand, even in a bottle, the device would show that you had corrected the imbalance. It was uncanny.

It simply measured the pulse. However being mechanical it would be unhindered (presumably) by the prejudices or poor abilities of a practitioner. But all mechanical devices have idiosyncrasies or limitations which are a result of the programmer(s) lack of knowledge and prejudices.

Naturally a well trained and observant pulse examiner will have intuitive abilities that transcend objective knowledge.
