Title: Absorbing Magnesium through the skin
Post by: Projectile Vomit on August 08, 2013, 05:57:48 am
I've been poking around looking at literature on the absorption of Magnesium, and found a report on a bath study using Epsom salts. I found it interesting, and since others might too here's the link: Report on Absorption of Magnesium Sulfate (http://www.epsomsaltcouncil.org/articles/report_on_absorption_of_magnesium_sulfate.pdf).

Diet alone will not meet magnesium requirements. Gives credence to that aquatic ape theory. Lately my family has been using magnesium oil to address magnesium deficiencies. I just wrote a blog post about this a few hours ago.

I've been mainly focusing on supplements and I occasionally do a epsom salt bath. I use Blue Ocean Minerals, 1 1/2 tsp per day (690 mg total) plus 300 mg magnesium glycinate from supplements.
