Yeah, nobody believes me when I say it's actually easier for me to lose weight when I'm more sedentary.  Exercising makes me hungry, and I eat so much more that I end up heavier when I'm exercising.  Of course, strenuous aerobic exercise like running/swimming/etc. would probably not follow this rule, but  I don't really do aerobic exercise other than walking/hiking.
