Title: Hake Fish Fillet
Post by: Sully on February 18, 2009, 07:34:12 am
I got a 9oz one from whole foods and ate it fresh. best darn raw animal food i tasted so far. I recommend it to beginners. Anyone ever try hake? Test much better than salmon to me. Any other tasty fish you tried? I found out that pre frozen fish is horrible.... Perthaps thats why the hake fillet was good, because it was fresh. Oh, and it was cheap. 5 to 6 dollars a pound.

I will have to look for that tomorrow at my Wholefoods, never tried it before. That's where I get my fish too. The Chilean Sea Bass was really good the other day. It actually had a pretty firm texture for raw. I just had a 1.13oz fillet of coho salmon. I eat a lot of salmon for the omega 3s. I got a couple of 6oz Halibut fillets I will probably have tomorrow afternoon. I was making a lot of Swordfish Ceviche with grapefruit juice in January because the grapefruits are supposed to be really good in January, probably still are.
