Europe Goes "All In": Will Sanction Rosneft, Gazprom Neft And Transneft
Until this moment, the main reason why everyone mostly dismissed Europe's sanctions against Russia is that despite all its pompous rhetoric, Europe consistently refused to hit Russia where it would hurt: its energy titans Gazprom, Rosneft And Transfneft. The reason is simple: by imposing sanctions on these core energy exporters, Europe would directly threaten the stability of its own energy imports (Russia accounts for up to 30% of German gas imports), and as winter approaches with every passing day, playing with the energy status quo would seem like economic suicide. This all appears to have changed last Friday, when as the FT reports from a leaked copy, Europe's latest sanctions round will boldly go where Europe has never dared to go before, and impose sanctions on the big three: Rosneft, Gazprom Neft and Transneft.

I say Europe is a chicken. Instead of showing a big fat middle finger to Putin, they allow Russia to bully them senseless. Europe does not have guts, will, or any balls. Obama's foreign policy has been a complete disaster and Kerry is the worst. Putin is surely laughing at those idiots. West needs new Reagan+Thatcher to show Russia its place.
West may get lucky and get a break if Chinese housing bubble bursts. This will send oil prices to the ground and Russia will go belly up just like Soviet Union. Oil went down 15% recently and Russia already has rapidly growing budget deficit because of arms race and bullying activities. GDP growth for this year is projected to be less than 1%. All is needed is oil price at $70 level for about 2 years and Putin regime is kaput.
For now, US is rapidly building LNG transport infrastructure to help Europe get off of Russian gas. And Germany made a stupid decision to close all nuclear plants.
And I need to say it again how awful Obama/Kerry is.

USA can transport enough LNG via the Atlantic Ocean?
YS, why do you say Europe is chicken? Europe just showed Russia their middle finger with these new sanctions... just as you wanted them to.

Quote
Richard Heinberg : Export stupidiy
There’s just one tiny problem with all these fervent desires and good intentions. On a net basis, the US has no oil or gas to export.
Sure, our nation produces a lot of these fuels, and the amounts have been growing in recent years. But the United States remains a net importer of both oil and natural gas. Let me repeat and emphasize that: the United States remains a net importer of both oil and natural gas.

I am sick of this. I hope Putin knocks the US bullies out of Ukraine. The US was fucking stupid to coup the Ukraine. Now the EU is slavishly obeying bloody Obama and the US with these sanctions which only end up hurting themselves. Already, as a result of Putin's quite reasonable actions, the EU is being badly hit by food-sanctions. My own current country, Austria, is going to lose hundreds of millions of euros just from the food-sanctions, when the gas-sanctions from Russia hit us, we will have enough gas reserves but gas-prices will skyrocket.

Do Europeans realize that this is a game the Americans play to have Europe and Russia fight each other? Because there can be only one master nation on earth?
Webster Tarpley predicted all this even before Obama was elected in 2008. See www.tarpley.net (http://www.tarpley.net)
There is no good reason Euro countries should be sanctioning Russia.
Is there something I missed?

i found this henry kissinger quote to be frighteningly accurate: “We told the military that we would have to take over seven Middle Eastern countries for their resources and they have nearly completed their job. We all know what I think of the military, but I have to say they have obeyed orders superfluously this time. It is just that last stepping stone, i.e. Iran which will really tip the balance. How long can China and Russia stand by and watch America clean up? The great Russian bear and Chinese sickle will be roused from their slumber and this is when Israel will have to fight with all its might and weapons to kill as many Arabs as it can. Hopefully if all goes well, half the Middle East will be Israeli. Our young have been trained well for the last decade or so on combat console games, it was interesting to see the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 game, which mirrors exactly what is to come in the near future with its predictive programming. Our young, in the US and West, are prepared because they have
