Cool, thanks for that one. I did find it hard to believe that Neanderthals only hunted animals very close up, including the largest megafauna.

Up till now, it was claimed by palaeoanthropologsts that early humans only invented spears, bows and arrows and traps c.60,000 years ago, with the notion that Neanderthals were utterly hopeless at every aspect of human endeavour. Amazing how things change.
