Title: Just started eating raw animal fats, need help.
Post by: A_Tribe_Called_Paleo on December 06, 2014, 04:00:32 am
I've just started eating raw animal fats. Went to Whole Foods and got 2lbs grass fed beef fat, and 2lbs grass fed lamb fat.  First thing I was wondering was the best way to store it? Secondly I had questions as to what I should, and shouldn't eat it with? Where does raw animal fat come into play on food combining charts? Anything will help, thanks guys.

Store it in the fridge. It mixes best with meat and fish.

I store and eat the fat along with the meat that it came from. Actually, if you got the whole animal, the fat would come with it - the only reason you have to buy it separately is because the butcher trims all the fat away before he sells you the muscle.

Hang it. Do not cover it. Eat meat and fat and find your balance.

What are the ill effects of covering the fat?? I don't have a place to hang it:(

Is it true raw honey aids in the digestion of raw fat?
